WELCOME TO THE FRIENDS OF THE STORRS LIBRARY WEBSITE!
The Friends of the Storrs Library (FOSL) is a non-profit organization which will celebrate its 30th year in 2025! Thanks to the ongoing support of our members and successful fundraising efforts, since FOSLs inception in 1994, we have been able to contribute over $315,000 to the Library.
Friends of the Library are individuals and families that are dedicated to the mission of the library and committed to the improvement of library services. Membership to FOSL is an easy and effective way to support Storrs Library and its programming. Your membership fee go directly to the Storrs Library, for Children's and Adult Collections and Programming. And there are other ways to contribute as well, these include The Book Nook, where you can purchase gently used books, coffee, and tea; merchandise sales at the front desk; sales of Storrs Library Fiber Arts Group merchandise; and fundraisers held throughout the year, such as our annual used book sale.
We invite you to join FOSL and help keep our library a vibrant and an essential part of our community. Your membership and support will ensure that our library has the resources and programs that it needs to continue to serve our community for many years to come.
